Who Do We Serve?

Guidance for Behavioral Health/First Choice Counseling, LLC serves children and families that are faced with some of life’s most difficult challenges. Maybe a youth is in danger of being removed from the home or is returning home from foster care or a juvenile justice facility. Perhaps at school there have been incidences of fighting, bullying, or poor attendance. There may even be issues of grief, substance abuse, running away, or trauma exposure at home.

Our goal is to supply families with the tools they need to to discover their untapped strength and overcome their struggles.

Who Can Make a Referral?

Guidance for Behavioral Health/First Choice Counseling, LLC accepts referrals from many different sources who are invested in the life of a child—parents and other relatives, teachers, FINS officers, probation officers, and DCFS workers to name a few.

Our goal is to supply families with the tools they need to to discover their untapped strength and overcome their struggles.

Guidance for Behavioral Health/First Choice Counseling, LLC was founded in 2016 by a family seeking ways to give back to their community. During their search, they found there to be a growing need for mental health treatment in the area.
